The panels of the lowest register feature members of the "holy kinship." Left to right:

• Achim (St. Joachim) and another figure
• Zachariah and Elizabeth, the parents of John the Baptist
• Another couple
• A bishop with a key (possibly St. Benno).

On the next register up are four sets of married couples in the holy kinship. Left to right:

• St. Anne with her second husband, Cleophas
• Alpheus, second cousin of the Virgin Mary, with his wife Maria
• Anna again, with her third husband Salomas
• Zebedee and his wife Salome, the parents of St. James the Greater and St. John the Evangelist

The third register up focuses on the Virgin Mary's own story:

• Saints Joachim and Anne flanking their daughter Mary, who is crowned and enthroned
• St. Joseph and the episode of the rods
• The Annunciation
• Mary herself, as the Madonna and Child

Finally, the top register:

• King David ancestor of Mary and of St. Joseph, with his son Solomon
• On the right, Issachar, patriarch of one of the twelve tribes of Israel. The figure on the left is labeled "Ioachim," perhaps a mistake for "Jehoiachim," the last king to rule before the Babylonian captivity.
• St. Joachim tending his sheep when an angel tells him to meet St. Anne at the Golden Gate
• The same angel giving St. Anne the same message
